I'm late to the comments, but I have to say I absolutely love their skin care. I saw it reviewed by someone who purchased it with their own money, who absolutely loved it. Since she doesn't do sponsored videos and has never steered me wrong (she hated the foundation) I purchased it. It is amazing on my dry aged skin.

I will have to start meowing for my milky toners from now on. I have oily skin but I love milky toners. I used Paula’s Choice Advanced Replenishing Toner for years until I discovered K beauty. I have a sample size of I’m From’s rice toner. Last night I layered it for the first time and it was lovely. Otherwise my go to and first Korean toner that I’m still using is Purito’s oat toner. Not many people talk about this! It’s milky, but watery and light. It’s so simple and soothing and smells like delicious oats. It always calms my skin down no matter what is going on, including hives!

I was going to order quite a few things from YesStyle based on your recommendations, and I got a few warnings on some of the products I had in my cart due to Titanium Dioxide and that it causes cancer.. is this accurate? I havent ordered any of these products yet because now I'm concerned.. anyone knows anything about this?

Does the tirtir milk toner the light version contain essential oil or fragrance?

11:57 - That is me with SO much of skincare. I miss the most obvious of things (at least in hindsight lol).

I have dry skin (made dehydrated and even dryer by isotretinoin) and have been using the Byoma milky toner for a month or so now. My skin absolutely loves it. I use it after a watery toner, and before a hydrating/calming serum and a moisturiser. I also use the Byoma face mist throughout the routine. I’m finding it’s helping to keep my skin calm and is reducing the amount of flaky skin as the isotretinoin dose is increased compared to just using the watery toner, serum, moisturiser and face mist. It’s kinda been the missing ingredient that’s brought the rest of the products in the routine together

I have never heard of Lion Pair Acne Cream before, or that type of product. How cool. Leave-on benzoyl peroxide as a spot treatment isn't very ideal, since it can "bleach" shit, but also it doesn't blend into skin colour super well (I have a tinted one, but even still). This stuff looks super interesting. It's clear, and looks like it won't dry the absolute shit out of whatever skin it's touching. I'm excited about this one!

I came away from this video with the plan to get some omega 3 supplements lol. I looked at the food that is high in omega 3, and I just don't eat any of it... except spinach! and eggs, but that ain't cutting it. Seems the general recommendation for men is 1,600mg. it also seems there's a vague recommendation of a "maximum of 4,000 mg - and no more than 5,000 mg". So, 2 1,000mg omega 3 fish oil tablets sounds pretty good (or if I am eating a bunch of seafood on a particular day, maybe 1 tablet). I am a person who doesn't do sun, either. I take 2 1,000IU vitamin D3 tablets, and my levels are perfectly fine (which is known though my blood tests).

The Ordinary Milky Toner and the original Tir Tir is my favourite. As soon as The Ordinary Milky Toner came on the market I knew I had to have it and it is the one product that blew my mind. I can't use acids anymore, I find them too harsh on my skin but TO is perfection! It makes my skin soft and smooth with no irritation at all. The Tir Tir is amazing under make up :).

i wonder how grande lash would work on eyebrows, would it have as many risks? idk but the experiences ive read in the comments are definitely keeping me suspicious of the reward vs risks

Hi Alice! This might be a little off topic, but I wanted to ask if you know of any lightweight moisturizers, and hydrating toners or essences that leave no tackiness behind? Or extremely little. I have normal/balanced skin that is highly resilient with no major concerns, but severe sensory issues. Although, it’s the teeniest bit dehydrated right now, but I have been washing it twice a day with Isntree’s Green Tea Fresh Cleanser so that might be the cause. I actually avoided skincare for years because everything I tried felt uncomfortable. Your channel, along with some others, was what inspired me to try again! I tried Beauty of Joseon’s Ginseng Watery Essence, Red Bean Water Gel, and Dynasty Cream. All left a mild to moderate tack, so I had to give them to my mom. Except for the Red Bean Water Gel, this one is tolerable enough for me to continue using currently as the tackiness goes away within a half hour. It is particularly sticky on my neck and chest though, so maybe I’ll have to try the using some eye cream on that area. The milky toners in this video interested me too! But I’m unsure if I should try them right now when I’m just getting my skincare routine started. By the way, your suggestion of Kopari’s body butter actually is a life saver! It’s the only body moisturizer I can handle; and I even went to Ulta to patch test basically every moisturizer in sight. So I really do want to thank you for your videos!

Have you ever tried Make P:prem panthenol moisture essence? ❤ Is the only legit creamy essence that works for my dry skin. I really recommend it 🤍

I just tried the emulsion from the history of whoo and WOW! just amazing, I could barley smell any fragrance and it just felt so smooth and made my face so soft ❤️❤️

My absolute favorite milky toner is Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner. It comes in a huge 500 ml bottle for $10-$20 depending where you buy it. Worth giving it a try if you haven't already.

I love Milky toners so I Loved this video!! I honestly learnt so much I didn’t know! I loved the kumbucha milky toner but after try the Mary and May I found a new fav! So many ppl used to love lanieges milky toner before they reformulated it last year. I feel like it’s more catered to oily skin now bc it just lives my skin feeling dry still… at the moment I’m trying some Japanese milky toner’s and I’m excited to see how they go!!! Thank you for the comparisons. As a drugstore option, I find the Thayers Hydrating Milky Toner to be soothing and hydrating. The only one I've tried of the ones you mentioned is the I’m From Rice Toner, and my skin turned red briefly on application, I suspect from the Niacinamide. I've had the Isntree, Dr, Ceuracle, and Mary & May ones on my try list, have tons of green tea toners to use up this summer. Wasn't aware of The Ordinary, adding that to the list also, I like squalane & ferments.
